With a Bachelor’s degree in biophysics from the University of Montreal, Dr. Luc Bessette completed his studies in medicine in 1980. Following an internship at the Montreal General Hospital (McGill University), he earned his medical degree in 1981. Since then, Dr. Bessette has accrued extensive experience in the practice of emergency and general medicine.

He has had the distinction of organizing three international medical conferences. In 1996, along with the sponsorship of six Canadian universities, he organized "Medicine 2001", a conference attended by several international telemedicine companies, the World Health Organization and NASA. Dr. Bessette became the founding president of the Canadian Society of Telehealth which emerged from that conference.

A health reporter for the Health Information Network Radio-Canada between 2002 and 2004, Dr. Bessette owns a number of Canadian and U.S. patents in medical information technology. Since September 2004 he has been at the forefront of the development of private practice in Quebec. In July 2004, in order to offer a wider set of privately available medical services, he left MD-Plus (a partner with the GROUP OPMEDIC) and established Crea-MeD.
In 2008, Dr. Bessette completed training in "age management medicine'' at Cenegenics Medical Institute. This emerging field focuses on the harmonious management of the aging process while aiming to improve and restore physiological functioning. By integrating healthy nutrition, physical exercise and restoring optimal hormone levels it is now possible to help you retain much of your strength and vitality as you age.

Docteur Robin
Doctor Robin studied Medicine at Université de Montréal where he graduated in 1997. He completed a residency in family Medicine in 1999 with McGill University where he was chief resident. Prior to studying medicine, doctor Robin graduated from Université Laval with a degree in biology in 1989 before joining a bio-medical research program in liver disease at St-Luc hospital in Montréal.

Doctor Robin has worked 12 years in Stamford, Connecticut, in a private family medicine office associated with The Stamford Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University. He has participated in the education of family medicine residents of Columbia University since 1999. He has received the ‘’Top Doctor’’ award in family medicine from the Connecticut Magazine each of the last three years.

Active in the community, doctor Robin has been vice-chair of The Stamford Hospital Department of Family Medicine, member of the Medical Executive Committee of The Stamford Hospital as well as Medical Director of a local skilled nursing facility.

Doctor Robin has been passionate about sailing since childhood. He was a member of the Canadian Sailing Team from 1985 to 1989. Today he enjoys sailing with his family and racing in local events.

Jean-Yves Dionne, Pharmacien

Jean-Yves Dionne is a pharmacist, trainer and scientific advisor specializing in natural health products (NHPs). He serves several companies and professional groups focusing on the integration of natural health products with conventional drug therapy. His research work has centered mainly on interactions between NHPs and drugs and he is currently involved in a research project at the University of Montreal, Faculty of Medicine that analyzes the risk to benefit ratio of NHPs.

A regular lecturer for postgraduate students at Laval University and the University of Montreal, Mr. Dionne received the Aventis Pharma Prize for Outstanding Contribution to Education for his course, Phytotherapy and Natural Health Products which he developed at the University of Montreal’s Faculty of Pharmacy. He was also honored with the 2011 Pharmacist in Spirit and Action Prize in the Health and Society category.

Mr. Dionne serves as contributing editor and contributor to several publications including www.passeportsante.net and Natural Medicine Journal, the official journal of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He has written or coauthored several books, including S.O.S. Os, des os solides à tout âge (SOS Bones, Strong Bones at Any Age) and Herbs, Everyday Reference for Health Professionals (CPhA & CMA 1999).

Mr. Dionne sat on the Boards of Directors of the Société canadienne de recherche sur les produits de santé naturels (Canadian Society for Natural Health Products Research) and the Filière des plantes médicinales biologiques du Québec (Medicinal and Organic Plant Sector of Quebec) He is a regular guest on Radio-Canada and other media outlets.

Claude-Henri Lapierre, NutritionnisteDietitian and nutritionist Henri-Claude Lapierre graduated from the University of Montreal in 1992. He is a member of Groupe Harmonie Santé (Harmony Health Group) since 1998 and a clinical nutritionist working in private practice since 1994.

He developed a comprehensive approach for the treatment of obesity and eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and food addiction.

Louise Durocher earned the Degree in Psychology from the University of Montreal in 1976 and the Ph.D. in Research and Intervention from the University of Montreal in 1999.

She is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (College of Psychologists of Quebec), the Association des psychologues du Québec (Association of Quebec Psychologists), the Société québécoise d’hypnose (Quebec Society of Hypnosis) and EMDR Canada.

In private practice since 1978, Ms. Durocher sat on the Disciplinary Board of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (College of Psychologists of Quebec) for 18 years and was professor in the Department of Psychology at the Cégep du Vieux Montreal for thirty years.

Mary Roberts earned the Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McGill University She specializes in fitness, swimming and running. Dynamic and determined, she will be your physical fitness expert.

In 2009, Mary was warm up host for Relay for Life to benefit the Canadian Cancer Society. In 2011, as aquatics coordinator, Mary organized rescuer training and competition as well as activities, courses and competitions for the general public. Additionally, Mary organized the first Swim-A-Thon to benefit Fonds Simon-Pierre in partnership with the Lifesaving Society.

As your kinesiologist, Mary will evaluate your level of fitness. She will provide you with an overall review of your strengths and a path to correct your weaknesses. She will find activities that motivate you so will learn to love and integrate physical fitness into a healthy lifestyle.


In 1999 Rachel started a career in circus arts after having completed classes at the Toronto School of Circus Arts.  While performing with Cavalia, Cirque Eloize, Cirque Sublime and Cirque Fantastique, Rachel traveled throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

In 2004 Rachel completed a degree in Health Science and graduated with Honours from the University of Western Ontario.  In 2009 she continued her education with a certification in Personal Fitness Training.

Rachel has been practicing yoga for over a decade, and in 2009 deepened her expertise by completing a yoga teacher certification.   She teaches with an attention to detail and uses her experience as a circus artist and as a fitness trainer to create a balanced approach to practicing yoga. She has already given specialty yoga classes to dancers and is perfectly bilingual.
